Prime Contractor: Business Promotion Consultants, Inc. (BPC)

Project Description

The Challenge

NSHS desired to regain control of its business processes with regard to the identification of incoming officer candidates and the payment of their medical school tuition, which are core functions of NSHS' Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). NMIMC also took an interest in the problems NSHS desired to solve. NSHS and NMIMC jointly sponsored the requirement.

The Work

BPC was tasked to provide a comprehensive functional and technical evaluation of the current business practices of NSHS’ Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP).

The Benefits

BPC’s As-Is mapping, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) evaluation, functional requirements definition, and To-Be Concept of Operations (ConOps), provided the NSHS and NMIMC with solution alternatives and implementation strategies to overcome HPSP operational difficulties.
